They have an important impact on the health of populations and can cause death. Objective: To observe patterns in the presentation of cases of exogenous poisoning in the Triângulo Mineiro, Minas Gerais, Brazil. To analyze cases in the 35 municipalities that comprise this region of the Federation and to contribute to the enrichment of the current literature. Material and methods: cross-sectional, descriptive study with quantitative analysis of data derived from notification forms of the Notification System of the Brazilian Ministry of Health (MS), from January 2009 to December 2018. Tabwin 3.2 was used to perform data processing and Microsoft Excel was used for tabulation. Results: 10, 282 cases of exogenous poisoning were recorded in the region, with the highest incidence in 2018. The municipality of Uberlândia had the highest frequency of cases, while Monte Alegre showed the highest incidence. With respect to deaths, Uberaba showed the highest frequency and Limeira do Oeste the highest incidence. The most affected gender is female, with drugs being the most common cause. The main causes found were self-extermination in adults and accidents in children. Conclusion: Knowledge of the epidemiological pattern of a health condition enables the prevention, promotion and care of health to be planned in an appropriate manner. In cases of exogenous poisoning in the region, it is interesting to note that suicide and accidents play major roles, with specific methods for each type.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û}, author={Noah R.
